Spindle and Clamp Force Replacement
A worn spindle or weak clamp force shows up in your parts before it shows up anywhere else. We replace what is worn with the same certified field techs who handle your everyday service.
Precision Starts at the Spindle
The spindle and its clamp force assembly are where cutting precision actually happens. Once bearings wear or clamp force drops, tolerance slips, tool life shortens, and scrap goes up, even if the rest of the machine looks fine.
We diagnose the actual cause before we replace anything, so you are fixing the real problem, not just swapping parts.

Spindle and Clamp Force Components We Handle
-
Spindle bearings, balanced and replaced to eliminate vibration.
-
Spindle motor and drive, repaired or replaced to restore full power.
-
Clamp force and drawbar assembly, rebuilt so tooling stays secure under load.
-
Tool changer components affected by spindle wear or misalignment.
Why It Matters
A properly rebuilt spindle and clamp force assembly holds tolerance, extends tool life, and keeps scrap rates down.
Ball Screws and Linear Guides
Backlash and worn axis travel show up as the same lost accuracy as a bad spindle, so we treat the whole positioning system as one job.
Ball Screws
We repair or replace worn ball screws to eliminate backlash and restore positioning accuracy on the axis.
Linear Guides
We help facilitate linear guide replacement through our parts and machine builder network, so axis travel stays smooth and true.
Spindle Replacement FAQ
How do you eliminate vibration during assembly?
Each shaft is balanced several times during assembly using a Schenk computerized hard-roller balancer to eliminate vibration. We keep a stock of inner and outer rings, nuts, caps, and labyrinths on hand for quick repairs.
How do I know if my spindle needs to be replaced?
Common warning signs include unusual noise or vibration, chatter marks on finished parts, loss of clamp force, or a drop in cutting accuracy. If you are seeing any of these, we can diagnose the cause before recommending a repair or replacement.
Do you work on spindles other than Mazak?
Yes. We are Mazak strong, but our spindle and clamp force work is not limited to one brand. We service most CNC and manual machine tool spindles, nationally and internationally.
Do you work on ball screws and linear guides too?
Yes. We repair or replace worn ball screws to eliminate backlash and restore positioning accuracy, and we help facilitate linear guide replacement through our parts and machine builder network so axis travel stays smooth and true.
